Morgane Baroghel-Crucq

About

Morgane Baroghel-Crucq, a French fibre artist, is celebrated for her ethereal textiles that blend light with unexpected materials like iron filings, brass, and silk. A graduate of ENSCI and founder of her own weaving studio, her works are exhibited internationally.

Metallic weaving

As a fibre artist and craftswoman, Baroghel-Crucq explores the intersection of textiles, landscape, and identity. Her weaving practice delves into diverse natural or found materials to create “silent landscapes”; sites where art and nature converge, revealing their essence through light.

Her creations reside at the intersection of craft, art, and design, offering a contemplative view of the materials that shape our surroundings.

Using mineral, vegetal, and animal elements, Baroghel-Cruq's works interrogate the interdependence of environmental components.
