Elisa Strozyk

About

Elisa Strozyk, a Berlin-based German artist, redefines textile design with her innovative, geometric surfaces that explore flexibility and mobility. A graduate of KHB Berlin and Central Saint Martins, Strozyk's award-winning work is exhibited internationally.

Wood, textiles & dyes

Strozyk's art practice is the refined outcome of an ongoing investigation into the three-dimensionality of surfaces and their tactile materiality.

Strozyk’s work is simultaneously ancient yet modern, pliable yet sturdy. With her work being a hybrid between marquetry and textile art, the artist challenges the viewer’s pre-conceptions of the material, offering new possibilities in the realm of textile art.

Through continuously pushing the boundaries of the material, Strozyk creates her own visual language –one that is altogether new, unfamiliar and mesmerising.
